The Medieval Castello di Torre dei Calzolari was built in the second half of the XII century by Federico Barbarossa in the course of a military campaign in Italy; it later remained the property of noble families and only at the end of the 80s it started to be used as a hotel. Surrounded by the greenery of an age-old park, housing the outdoor swimming pool, the Castello is a charming ambience of history and nature.
