Instituto per l'arte e il Restauro.
Palazzo Spinelli was founded in September 1976 thanks to an idea of Francesco Amodei, who after a two years experimental course on Ancient Wood, founded the “Istituto per l’Arte e il Restauro” which was in a few years an immediate international success. The founders were Francesco Amodei, Mauro Buffi, Domenico Cancellieri, Giuseppe Furferi. Since then, more than 5500 students have been educated in our laboratories and have spread the strong image of Florence as the “world capital of restoration” in every corner of the planet.
