Bardonecchia

Bardonecchia is an all round touristic village: in fact, besides snowboarding and skiing, the mountains' lovers are accomplished with a lot of other activities and sports like horse riding, cross country skiing, winter cyclig, ice skating, winter trekking and other activities topractice in the indoor structures.

Bardonecchia is found on the Italian side of the Fréjus tunnel, which links Italy and France. It makes an excellent base for travel, as you can drive to both the Trois Vallées and the Milky Way area, providing massive skiing potential. Bardonecchia is a large town, based around the station.

Bardonecchia is a traditional border town in the sunny Susa Valley of Italy's Piedmont region. Near to the French border, on the Italian side of the Frejus Tunnel, Bardonecchia has grown from a typical mountain town into a cosmopolitan holiday resort where visitors can still wander along ancient cobbled streets and enjoy the weekly market that's been going on since medieval times.

Bardonecchia is located in a sunny valley right on the border with neighbouring France. Two of its three ski areas are interlinked providing an enormous ski area with an amazing 100kms of marked piste with a variety of skiing. It has grown from an authentic Italian town with tree lined streets to a bustling ski resort and combines minimal weekday lift queuing with a lively weekend atmosphere.

This beautiful scenic resort consists of 6 villages: Fregiusia, Les Arnaus, Melezet, Millaures, Rochemolles and Pian del Sole. The 140 km of well groomed pistes are made up of 4 skiing areas: Campo Smith Colomion, Les Arnauds, Mélezet Valle Stretta and Fregiusia Jafferau.
