Tour Guides

Over the last five years we have carefully built a team of guides that we truly believe are the best guides in their particular cities and in their particular fields of expertise. With backgrounds in Art & History, natives or long-term residents of their respective cities or regions, they provide our guests with an insiders view of Italy.

Welcome to Italy, the Bel Paese, where each sense is awakened at every turn. Panoramas unfold before your eyes, with every hue of the artist's palette represented: the azure of the sky and the sea; the green of Alpine pastures; the white of snow-capped mountains; the russet of roof tiles; the yellow of ripening lemons. The sounds of Italy are a harmony of innumerable dialects, recalling the days of the Roman Empire, of the eras of conflict and conquest, and of the cultural influence of people from other countries of Europe and the Mediterranean. The fragrances and flavours of Italy are there to be savoured: linger over a lunch of seafood and pasta; experience the taste of distinctive olive oils and vinegars; enjoy the many fruits of the generous land and the vine.

Only in Rome can you sip cappuccino at a café in front of the Pantheon, buy grapes at a centuries-old market, and have an audience with the pope -- all in one morning. For a mix of spectacular art, grand history, and exuberant street life, no other city comes close.
