Italy is the tourist country pre-eminently and, if you adapt yourself, it is not difficult to find jobs in hotels, restaurants, bars, ice-cream shops, and so on. Also in agriculture it is possible to find short time job in the fruit and vegetables collection.
On average the demanded availability goes from 2 to 6 months and the most demanded profiles are reception employees, cooks, cleaning staff, barmen, waiters for the receptive structures, baby sitter, entertainers; and so on.
The best period to send your resumè goes from January to April for the summer season and from September to November for the winter season. For job in hotels it can be useful to read the announcements that appear on daily paper and local newspapers and it is almost always necessary to introduce yourself personally since the innkeepers prefer to see the people that they mean to engage.
